The Osmonds - Live in Las Vegas: 50th Anniversary Reunion Concert (DVD, 2008)

I watched the Osmond's concert at least twice on PBS. It was absolutely
great to watch! I had not realized how these young singers had grown and
blossomed into beautiful adult entertainers. Their voices have matured and
strengthened, and their harmony is so totally enjoyable!
Marie was astonishing!! She did selections from two
Broadway plays, "The King and I", as well as "The Sound of Music". She was
outstanding---beautiful. Her voice was sweet, a pleasure to hear. There was
a vocal quality, to me, that had not been there before.
Donny and his brothers were an enjoyment to hear as well. They have such
wonderful voices and played various musical instruments--and can they dance!!
There was a mutitude of songs, fantastic rhythm and wonderful to watch
this family have such fun with each other. One of the last songs, "He
Ain't Heavy" brought Marie to tears, because the words so reflected her
feelings towards her brothers.
This would be a wonderful gift for a family with children! --Something nice
to play around the holidays. Moreover, to buy it on PBS, was very expensive.
Here, on EBay, it was a fair price and mine was mint---brand new.
I highly recommend this dvd to any music lover and anyone looking for good
clean family entertainment!

If you love the Osmonds, you'll love this reunion concert from Las Vegas. Packed with such amazing, reminicent songs such as "Puppy Love" and "He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother," you'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll find yourself singing along with all of the Osmonds as you are swept away back to a time when you first encountered this wonderful group.

I grew up in Germany as an Army brat and listened to all the hits songs on this DVD when they first hit the radio in the early seventies. I have been an Osmond fan since I was twelve and I am now 45. This performance by the entire Osmond family was so enjoyable I watched it twice in a row and will watch it many, many more times in the future! This DVD is top-notch quality and is very well produced.*Some of the pictures of the DVD in the listing from the sellers on Ebay showed it included (2)discs and I was real upset when I opened it to find only (1) DVD included. If you purchase it from a seller you might want to ask them if it is only one or two DVD's before you buy it...In any case you will totally enjoy the performance of all the members of the Osmond family as they celebrate fifty years of making solid gold hits. It is unbelievable that I still remember the words to all these songs after thirty plus years! This is a must buy for any Osmond fan! Enjoy...

I have, once again, been reminded just how much I enjoy the Osmond Family. In fact, I think their voices are more harmonious and seasoned NOW... as adults. My only complaint about the CD's & DVD's being put out on this momentous 50th anniversary show, is that the entire show and every single song, was not included. Thanks... for the memories!

I was a fan in the 70's and this reunion album does not disappoint. The Osmonds still have the amazing 5 part harmony and you feel the family bond through their performance of their songs. A must for any Osmond fan!!!
