Oswald - On-the-Go Oswald (DVD, 2004)

This is a delightful video. Oswald is a very sweet, kind octopus who is "always happy to help". Voice of Fred Savage of "Wonder Years" fame. Oswald owns a cute little dog named "Weenie" who actually looks like a hot dog. His other close friends are Daisy (who is actually a daisy) and Henry the penguin. They all live in Big City and each day is a happy adventure.

I highly recommend this video.

My daughter LOVES Oswald and finding a DVD with him can be a a challenge... After reading the reviews here I decided to purchase this and was not disappointed. My daughter was please to see Oswald "on demand" and it contains the same great stories as on TV.
Oswald is perfect for teaching kids that your friends are special and even though you may run into something that makes life hard, or makes you unhappy or may even be unfair, there is a bright side to it all!
Oswald is a great "friend" to have!!

My 4-year-old son Benjy saw an Oswald DVD at his grandfather's house, and I began to look around for one. When I couldn't find it in the stores, I turned, of course, to Ebay.

This DVD is phenomenal. It's voiced by Fred Savage, who does a fantastic job as a sensitive, caring octopus. The stories are all gentle, age-appropriate tales of Oswald overcoming mild challenges in easily understood ways.

The only caution I would give is that every little vingette is pretty "gloom and doom" until the end when they're resolved, and sensitive children might be saddened by all the trouble poor Oswald has. My little guy loves the DVD, but he still gets sad when Oswald is having a rough time. This is, of course, the same child who was majorly disturbed by the Curious George movie when George gets taken away from The Man in the Yellow Hat ...

my two year old wakes up to oswald in the mornings he loves the cartoon too bad there are only two dvd's out. The voice of oswald is fred savage, is that kevin from the wonder years?? anyways love this dvd its very cute

I cannot tell you how much my kids love this video. I have an autistic son who has taken a liking to Oswald. Since the show is not on TV anymore, DVD is our only option. This video has entertaining episodes even I don't mind watching over and over and over again. The backround music is also catchy. My son has speech delays, but he hums the background music all the time.
Highly recommended video.
