Product Information
Taking control of a mysterious figure that has inherited the legacy of the long-dead evil Overlord, the player emerges near death from the ruins of the old Overlord's Dark Tower. Only the player's actions will determine if they will rise to become the new all-powerful Overlord; it's all up to how bad they want to be in order to succeed ... evil or really evil! With a dark sense of humor, the game immerses players in twisted parodies of classic fantasy stories and characters. In a unique twist, players will have control over an army of an army of Minions that will use their unique skills to fetch, fight and die for their new Overlord. Throughout the game players will actively control a horde of these gremlin-like creatures that will follow every bidding no matter how whimsical or life threatening it may be.

The PlayStation 3 Raising Hell edition of Overlord enhances the original with a heaping helping of content that includes all of the downloadable content released to date.

Game Special Features
  • Set in a seriously twisted fantasy world, Overlord: Raising Hell is an action adventure that has players being ruthless, determined, and even a little despotic as they pillage lands and conquer kingdoms in order to be proclaimed the all-powerful Overlord. At the heart of the game is an army of slavish little creatures known as Minions, and their presence provides Overlord Raising Hell with its deliciously dark comedic touches
  • Overlord Raising Hell adds a series of additional hellish levels, each a supernatural abyss for the game's five kingdoms. With the undead denizens of each abyss on the attack and threatening the Overlord's superiority, there's only one thing for it: assemble the Minions, descend into each abyss and embark on a fresh wave of tyranny in order to claim the underworld throne
  • In addition to offering a complete collection of Overlord content, including online co-operative pillaging and head-to-head slaughter, the Playstation 3 system edition is also enhanced with detailed visuals, a top-spec audio system with 7.1 surround sound and gameplay refinements, such as the addition of an on-screen mini-map
  • Support ElementsNet Support, Stereo Surround

I like this game a lot, a nice change from being a good guy on the rpg. It is like in the game of Fable on XBox where you can go evil depending on your actions. With this you go evil all the way creating your empire. This kinda reminds me some of the style of Legacy of Kain:Soul Reaver. This game is a good run on to lay back and enjoy.

    LORD OF EVIL !!!!!!!!!!

It is an amazing game, there is a lot of adventure and it is not repetitive. There are many surprises and it has a great sense of humor and gives you the option of being good or bad and changes the story completely.
Lots of bosses and challanges, the minions are amazing and it is so cool that you can have four types of them.
The expansion is already included and it goes good with the original story and adds more challanges and fun experience.
    A must buy game

    Overlord: Raising Hell

This game is great. It's always fun to be the bad guy and just wreak havoc. There’s tons to do beyond the main quest. You can terrorize townspeople, decorate your tower, complete sidequests, etc.

Definitely worth a rent or buy.

    A Very Different Game

    Created: 30/04/09
I really really enjoyed this game and so did my son. It was different from any other game I have played in the past.

I did find a little difficult to control the minions in the beginning but that was not the game's fault...just a learning curve for me...

I only found one portion of the game frustrating....its a section that you have to mow down flowers in a limited time...and if you fail they all pop back up....If I didn't enjoy the game so much I would have stopped playing at that point....as is...I had my son do that part for me.

I can't wait for the second one.

Great gameplay, nice mostly smooth controls, one of a kind storyline but not the best camera in the world...
