| Everyone's favorite yellow dot-chomping dude is back in PAC-MAN WORLD. Pac-Man's nemesis, Toc-Man, has kidnapped Ms. Pac-Man, Pac Jr., Baby Pac, Professor Pac, Pooka (from DIG DUG) and Chomp Chomp the dog-pac. Now it's up to Pac-Man to find and rescue his friends from Toc-Man's hiding spots, which include desert islands, deep-space outposts, and mine shafts. Along the way, you will challenge other enemies and use platforms to launch yourself to spots that are otherwise unreachable. You'll also have to find buttons and jump on them to open doors that may hold the keys you'll need to open additional doors. Pac-Man also has a spin-roll move he can use to get up the hills he cannot climb, and a rev-run that generates power to propeller-platforms scattered around the game. You can also find secret areas that are reminiscent of the classic days of PAC-MAN. | |

) I purchased this game for my kids simply because I had the first Pac-Man (Atari) when I was a kid. Although the graphics are different and the joystick uses my thumbs instead of my hand, I felt like a kid again playing the classic version. Watching my kids play the "quest" version was so much fun, and I was given the control to "give it a try." I actually figured it out right away!! SO, this game is a joy and easy enough for us Moms and Dads too. A terrific buy!!

I wanted this game ever since I saw the commercial when it first came out. I bought a copy off of ebay because my original copy was so loved it wouldn't play.
I was amazed at the incredible 3d platform graphics, coming from a ps1 game. The plot is entertaining and the graphics are cute and colorful. The game has a surprising ending that even shocked me when I first beat the game. I recommend this game to anybody who likes Pac-man and anybody who loves classic adventure games. Pac-man FOREVER!!!

Pac Man World ROCKS!

I have never really been a "gamer," persay...and I can usually take it or leave it when it comes to video games. However, this was the ONE game I ever became addicted to! I suck horribly at the original PacMan, but PacMan World is MUCH more fun, and keeps my interest a LOT better!! I have ordered a copy of this game, now that I finally have a game console of my own, and I feel like a kid waiting on Christmas....IT JUST CAN'T GET HERE FAST ENOUGH!!!! This game is awesome, if you liked the Mario Brothers games, you should like this one!!

This is a great game for everyone in the family, it has that old feel from when I was a kid playing in the arcade to updated 3-D graphics that my son really enjoys. Even my wife finds this blast to the past just to much fun to pass up. It is very refreshing to find a game that truly is family and kid friendly...
