PADI Adventures in Diving: Advanced Training for Open Water Divers by Professional Association of Diving Instructors (1991, Book, Illustrated)

When I completed my PADI Open Water Course, my Instructor advised me to keep going, to continue my SCUBA education and polish my skills. I heeded that advice, signing up immediately at my local dive shop for PADI's Advanced Open Water. The book, ADVENTURES IN DIVING, facilitated my leaning about Wreck, Deep, Night, Nitrox, Drift, and Peak Performance Buoyancy. I dived soooo much better following my A O/W certification than after O/W. I recommend ADVENTURES IN DIVING, and PADI's Advanced Open Water certification (or the NAIU, IANTD, SDI, etcetera equivalents) for anyone wishing the pure enjoyment of underwater experiences that comes wit true scuba proficiency.

The most current version of this book is 2.1 dated 11/01. This book is an excellent book that covers the next step in the PADI system from Open Water Diver. It covers many different specialties. It is also helpful for the experienced diver to serve as a reference or to update an older revision. A must have book for the PADI divemaster and for all PADI AOW students as of the 4th quarter 2005 training bulletin.

This book is just out of date for new courses like peak bouyancy,but just right for the rest of the courses. The price made this book just right.
