Panasonic RR-930 Desktop Cassette Transcriber / Recorder

I purchased the micro-cassette transcriber in order to free myself from a large number of tapes I had made over the years getting family stories and reminiscences that I thought well worth preserving for the younger generations. The foot pedal on the machine allows for capturing the detailed cadence of a person's speech whereas a more laborious method would have invited editing and "clean up."
In terms of the transaction, communication with the buyer was frank and personal and the delivery and condition of the machine beyond reproach.
So maybe I should just say "thank you for the memories" that this purchase will enhance.

I bought the transcriber to use in my work as a medical transcriptionist and was desperate for one that worked! It had a minor flaw which I overlooked since I was in need of it. However, a month later, it quit altogether - no sound - the tapes would not advance nor retract.It is totally useless to me and I am out all the purchase price. I will NOT buy anything else from eBay!

I love the Panasonic RR-930. Our company has used them along with a number of different brands/models, and find this one to be the most reliable. The foot pedal port is less likely to break. It also has the Quick Erase feature that many of the others don't have. I will definitely buy others if the need arises. It is just an all around great machine.

It is hard to find a non-digital transcriber and I use mine a LOT. This one has good features, but mostly the foot pedal is far superior to those of other machines. It is hard to find because it is no longer manufactured, but if you need a transcribe and can get your hands on this, it's the best.

Good product. Works well for medical office environment. Has key features and is easy to use. I bought this product because of the variety of features and the reasonable cost. PAnasonic makes a quality unit.
