Movie synopsis
Animé innovator Satoshi Kon brings murder, mystery, and mayhem to PARANOIA AGENT. An unknown assailant brutally attacks Tsukiko Sagi. Questioned by the Tokyo Police, Tsukiko's story of a child attacker seems absurd. Nevertheless, the attacks continue. Other victims describe the image of a child with a crooked baseball bat and golden rollerblades. The culprit, now dubbed "Lil' Slugger," hides in abandoned alleys, sneaks up on unsuspecting passersby, and bludgeons them. Is this the work of a child? These mature tales of horrifying crimes are awash in imagery that suggests an altered state of consciousness.

) Mind bending show, that picks at you with suspense thriller at it's finest. Satoshi Kon has a winner here, and this show will leave you confused, exhilarated, and wanting more by the end. This box is very nice, very rare, and the plushie is nice. Another quality release by Geneon, if you can find it, get it.

) I loved watching this anime with my daughter when it came on. We went through the entire series together and decided then and there that we would buy it when it came up for sale. This anime is unlike others. It keeps you wondering and guessing who the perp is, and it actually has some scary undertones. This show is in one word "enjoyable"!
I highly recommend it to anyone who loves a scary tale filled with enough suspense to hold your attention.
