    This book is absolutely incredible.

Why I bought the book? I was "involuntarily retired," i.e. laid off, about one and a half years ago at the then age of 53.5. After attempting to secure work in my field (life & disability investigations) with negative results (unless I was willing to live out of a suitcase or move from South Florida, I blindly attempted to start my own business - twice! Once in the floor restoration area and again in the home inspection area. Not having been self-employed, I was astonished at the expenses, licensing, etc., involved. Several months ago I chose to relax and focus on family & particularly spending time with my now 2 year old grandson. At the same time, I rejoined my gym & focused on getting back into physical shape. I realized that I "come alive" when at the gym and having been a competitive athlete from youth through my late 30's realized my passion is "physical fitness." I am in the process of attaining several certifications to be a personal trainer & nutrition consultant. I PURCHASED THIS BOOK TO HELP GUIDE ME IN SETTING UP MY OWN BUSINESS IN THIS AREA and it has answered every question I had, and, guided me regarding uncountable tax advantages of owning my own business.

What I like most about this book? It takes complicated & confusing tax issues and simplifies them into easy to understand language. It covers virtually every area you can think of regarding both personal and business taxes and uses case law and examples regarding many areas.

What I dislike about this book? Nothing! I enjoyed all areas, even those that have no effect on my taxes.

Would I buy this book again? Absolutely! I'll probably have to due to all the highlighting, notes and dog-eared pages :).

Bottom Line - The author, Jeff Schnepper, is a "gifted writer" who is able to take complicated, confusing & less than exciting material and make it "enjoyable & easy to understand."
