Peavey Vypyr 30 1x12'' 30 watt Guitar Amp Combo

The Peavey Vypyr is an essential part of any guitar player's arsenal. While you can't get EVERY effect there seem to be limitless possibilities to what you can do with this amp. It's easy to program, fun to mess around with, and even better to create unique sounds.
The volume knob is a little touchy but it has a nice smooth action that allows the user to set the volume at just the perfect level. All the control knobs have the same smooth action and also feature semi-bright LEDs to indicate the selected setting.
There is also a light that measures tempo, that you can adjust for faster or slower songs. There is even a built in tuner that I personally didn't like using but I've already got an electronic tuner. I'm sure the tuner works fine, I just didn't really give it a chance.
This amp works best with the Sanpera I or II, I have the Sanpera I, it's really easy to use and makes switching effects in mid-play much easier.
I think the folks at Peavey have really outdone themselves, this is the bet modeling amp I have ever used and I strongly recommend the Vypyr to anyone, no matter what kind of music you play.

Amazing Guitar amp extencive amount of effects. amazing tonallity from all amp models. planning on getting the 75 watt for bigger shows. highly recomended. i play metal and it can go from ac/dc to behemoth in a twist of a couple knobs. this amp has really let me find my tone. for any song if i need it a little harsher or more open this amp acomodates amazingly. ive already droped it 3 times down the stairs (accidently off course)And has sufferd no damage other than a scuff on the plastic.

I've had a 15w VYPYR for a couple of months now and love it so much that I had to get the next size up. The 30w is incredible! It's like owning 24 different Peavey amps. Plus, 11 stompboxes that I never have to buy. I would very highly recommend The Peavey VYPYR to any musician that likes to get a lot of bang for thier buck!

This amp is very impressive. It have over 50 possible combinations with all of the settins that it has. With all of these settings you would have to pay well over 1000 dollars but with this amp you get it all in one package for a much lower price. All in all this is the best amp I have ever owned and I would deffinitly recommend this to a friend!

Excellent piece of equipment. It has so many different combinations of sounds it gives you a nearly infinite choice of effects you can cater to your personal sound. The only thing I could possibly dislike is the fact that I didn't buy it sooner.
