Peg Perego Primo Viaggio SIP Infant Car Seat

I bought this seat a few weeks ago. It has great safety ratings. The side impact protection offers stability. The base is easy to install, the seat releases easily. I purchased it because my son and daughter in law used a Primo Viaggio for their two children now 3 and 5 as part of their perego stroller system. There is a new grandchild on the way and I needed something with good safety features for use in my car. It is also compatible with the stroller I keep at my home.

My oldest granddaughter is having her first child and because safety is of the upmost importance to both of us we purchased this as a shower gift for many reasons. The side impact protection, the price I purchased it for was much less than I could purchase at the store, it was new in the box, we lived within driving distance to pick it up, and all of the reviews have been excellent on its performance and ease of operation. She is due to deliver in the next thirty days so the real test will come then. Also I purchased the matching Peg Perego P3 Pliko stroller on line to complete the set.

I like the side impact protection feature. It not only protects my grandchilds head but helps keep it upright while sleeping. It is a very compact car seat and is easy to put in and take out of the vechicle.
It is a very heavy car seat and as my grandchild get bigger it is harder for me to carry.
