Peter Jennings Reporting - The Kennedy Assassination: Beyond Conspiracy (DVD, 2004)

I saw this wonderful documentary on the history channell and I bought it soonafter. I have watched this documentary no less than 40 times. Everything about the kennedy assassination is laid out plain and simple. Although this dvd is only over an hour, because your getting the essential facts,it seems much longer. This documentary has lee harvey oswalds brother robert speaking and he provides some indepth character analyzation of his brother. There are interviews with people who knew jack ruby (his former strippers and his brother). The footage is authentic color/black and white. I have every kennedy assassination dvd in my collection and I strongly feel that this is the only one that I need to have. This documentary should be entitled "the essential kennedy assassination" because it's simply the essential facts that you need to know. After watching this dvd I believe that lee harvey oswald did the shooting himself and that he was a lonely man who just wanted to feel important. In closing, if your a kennedy assassination buff, stop wasting your money by buying all the documentaries out there on the assassination and just buy this one. This is the best, this is the truth. These are the essential facts that you need to know to draw your own conclusions.

After watching this, I felt that Peter Jennings was trying to sell me a lemon. For some reason, ABC felt the need to tell people the Warren Report was accurate even though 95% of people don't believe it. This documentary did just what the Warren Report did - it ignored any evidence and any testimony that didn't support its conclusion. Lee Harvey Oswald was a designated patsy who was planted by the CIA to take the rap. He was supposed to have been murdered when he left the Texas School Book Depository but the person responsible for killing him screwed up. So, then Jack Ruby had to finish the job on national TV before Oswald opened his mouth.
Has there ever been an explanation of why LHO went to a movie theatre (and drew attention to himself by not paying for a ticket?)
How was it that the Dallas police knew exactly where to find him?
Obviously, he went there to meet someone and the police were tipped off where they could find the designated scapegoat.
Any two-bit assassin would have been trying to leave town ASAP rather than hanging out at a movie theatre 60 minutes after shooting the president of the U.S.
This whole cover-up is the biggest lie in U.S. history and everyone is involved - Hoover, CIA, Mafia, Dallas Police, FBI, Earl Warren, Gerald Ford and LBJ. Even if Johnson wasn't involved, he sure did a swell job of trying to cover it up.
47 years and counting ... the lie lives on.

I have seen practically every video, and read just about every Kennedy Assassination Conspiracy book ever written. I own a shelf of paperbacks on the subject. I have heard Mark Lane, David Lifson, and others speak in person about about the assassination. I thought the Warren Commission was a bunch of crap. I was a conspiracy buff for years, until I read "Case Closed" by Gerald Posner. Posner's book was the most well researched and logical book ever written on this subject. He changed my mind about the killer (and there was only one)in Dallas on November 22, 1963. If you don't have time to read the book and you want to see the truth, then buy this video. This video does a great job laying out the case for the lone assassin, Lee Harvey Oswald. Anyone who is willing to objectively look at the facts, not the Oliver Stone type-hype, with it's untrue allegations and unproven conjectures, will come to the same conclusion (the truth) about the Kennedy assassination. It was the deed of one man- Lee Harvey Oswald- and him alone. The truth is out there....when you are ready for it. It's in this video.

Peter Jennings and ABC moved the back wound up from 5 1/2 inches from the collar and 2 inches to the right of the spine to continue the "Single Bullet Lie" created by the GREAT LIARS, Arlen Specter (you deserve cancer) and Gerald Ford (soon to die of old age and rot in hell with J Edgar Hoover and Richard Nixon). Don't waste your money. Buy the book, "Breach of Trust" by Gerald McKnight if you want to know about the Kennedy Assassination cover-up.
