Philips 17MD250V 17.1" 720p LCD Television

I bought this TV for my bus conversion it fits perfect above the driver area with a wall mount bracket the picture is great uses less power than a crt TV so thats good for solar, I hooked up my entertainment speakers to the earphone jack to hear mp3 or other music and the stereo sound is great for movies or music, The dvd player works great, you have options in the TV menu area to select the right color warm, cool or regular and you have stereo choices for entertainment sound for dvds or music cds. I think this was a very good choice I made, for being refurbished I couldn't see anything wrong thats why it gets a top rating from me.

I bought the 17MD250V TV/DVD Combo set one month ago for outdoor-camping purpose.I watch TV programming in analog and digital system and reception is great,original colors,great contrast and adjustable size of the screen make this TV/DVD combo a great window to the world for reasonable price.

I am really satisfied after deciding to buy this television. The picture is absolutely amazing, especially when watching programs in HD. Its crystal clear. The built in DVD player is also a huge bonus. It works really slick by just sliding it in the side and havent had any problems with it so far. It is easy to use and even funner to watch. It swivels too so you can turn it a little bit to adjust to your viewing angle, unfortunately it doesn't swivel quite enough to make a dramatic 180 change, only about 30 degrees or so. But overall, it was a great buy. If your looking for a nice tv to put in a bedroom or den, and still want to have great quality and picture, this is definitely what youve been looking for.

When my old TV/VCR was was on its last gasp, I shopped eBay for a more up to date unit. The Phillips 17" unit was just what I was looking for. It fits the small space on my desk and also doubles as my computer monitor, allowing me to dispense with another piece of electronic paraphanalia. It has excellent sound and very clear picture. Its one drawback, a very minor one, is that the DVD player does not have a memory feature which allows it to return to the point where it was stopped when I shut off the unit. I have to go to Scene Select to find the approximate location where I left off. This is something I can live with in light of all the other good features.

Of all the others I reviewed, this unit seemed to offer the best value for the price. I'm very pleased with this purchase and would consider another Phillips LCD TV in the future.

I bought this television to fit on the wall of a small guest bedroom in my home that will used primarily for my grandchildren when they visit. I love it. It fits nicely on the wall with a standard bracket, is out of the way and is high enough to lie in bed and watch television or dvds. The picture quality is very clear and clean. I am very pleased with it and am glad that it was one of my recent purchases for my home. I would highly recommend it. Thanks for such a good product.
