Physicians Formula Organic Wear 100% Natural Origin Mascara

I love the idea of natural and organic and believe this is the make-up of the future. I also love the wand on this item. It does just what it says - lengthens, volumizes and defines. My lashes looked wonderfully thick, long and rich. So on those issues I give this item an EXCELLENT. However, I also found this mascara smudges easily. Everytime I looked in the mirror during the day I found black smudges under my eyes. Also I could not find this in a brown-black color, so I had to use the black. I have blond hair so it was a little too dark. So on those counts I have to give this a BELOW AVERAGE to POOR rating. Hopefully those issues can be addressed and then this would be an outstanding product. Until then I can only give it an AVERAGE rating overall and I will continue my search to find one that meets my needs.

This mascara has so many advantages to it, not only is it free from nasty chemicals and is organic and natural but in keeping up with 'modern mascara technology' it boasts the plastic individual bristle wand like many other mascaras on the market (not the biggest fan of the conventional fibre brushes, I believe the seperate bristles coat the lashes better and more evenly so this was a big positive for me). Great value for money too! Inexpensive and accessible to everyone! Also this company promotes great ethical values and does not test on animals - another great positive feature! This mascara is long wearing and definitly does not flake! Can be built up nicely and always get compliements for how fluffy and lusicous my lashes look! Love it!

I bought this mascara because I was looking for a mascara that did not irritate my eyes and make them tear, plus was not terribly expensive.

This item does the job. There are organic ingredients in the formula and it is gentle, so my eyes no longer get irritated or tear up. It makes the lashes look great and the brush is really nice.

Compares to other similar products, it could be a little more lush in making the lashes look ultra thick, but this one is a terrific value for the price.

So I bought this mascara because I loved the idea of it being a %100 natural, with no parabens and damaging stuff, besides it is cruelty-free which is a big thumbs up! Overall I really like how my lashes look with one coat, it really lengthens and adds lots of volume, plus getting them extra dark. The brush is a really nice kind-of-plastic one with lots of bristles that really separates them. The formula is kind of wet at the beginnig, which is not necessary a bad thing, but after a few uses it kinda dries up a little bit, and then it's perfect (at least fot me), it does not leave my eyelashes crunchy at all, on the contrary, it leaves them very soft. A big BIG downfall is that it smudges like crazy, so if you have very watry or sensitve eyes, I wouldn't really recommend it, since it comes off very easily. Otherwise, I really recommend this mascara, personally I LOVE it and will definetely be buying another one.

I love everything about this mascara -- it really volumizes and lengthens without clumping or looking overdone. The only issues are the fact that it does smear or run easily in high humidity or moisture and when the product is really fresh, I do have to comb through my lashes with a clean spoolie after application to provide additional separation. Otherwise, the natural aspects are great plus, especially for those with sensitive eyes.
