I took a chance hoping to get some insight and information about the history and collecting of guitar picks. I wasn't disappointed. This is a very well written and researched book. Great photos, and a great start on my journey of information seeking! I hope to meet WIll Hoover the author some day.

) very informative book about the guitar pick. what some are made of and all the different shapes that are out there. Even a chapter on stars that used certain picks back in the day. i enjoyed it.

) Well written and illustrated history of the guitar pick. Easy to read. Entertaining topic. Lots of photographs. Clear timeline for the development of the guitar pick and the many innovations one would not expect to find with such an unheralded musical accessory.

The only book about guitar picks, concentrates on vintage picks and the history of various brands of picks. Will Hoover is to be commended, and he is...by Chet Atkins in this sweet little book. Fits in your guitar case as well!
