Well written and illustrated history of the guitar pick. Easy to read. Entertaining topic. Lots of photographs. Clear timeline for the development of the guitar pick and the many innovations one would not expect to find with such an unheralded musical accessory.

    Guitar picks aren't for sissies!

The only book about guitar picks, concentrates on vintage picks and the history of various brands of picks. Will Hoover is to be commended, and he is...by Chet Atkins in this sweet little book. Fits in your guitar case as well!

Great book for guitar lovers! My 14 year old son collects picks of all kinds and has enjoyed learning the history behind them.
