Like most parents, my wife and I are concerned with our child’s education. We prefer games and toys that have some educational value and still be fun or entertaining.
This game fits all, fun, entertaining, challenging and educational.
The game is not too complicated for a child to pick up quickly before they can lose interest. My 7 year-old son, with-in a few days of playing was designing some of his own puzzles (one of its features). He loves finishing each puzzle to see what the hidden object will do (animated video of object. i.e. dog shown on cover - running around, sitting and playing).
The puzzles are challenging enough for adults as you move in to the higher levels.
There are plenty of tutorials to help you and your kids learn and love this game.
I believe this game has helped him better understand spatial recognition, specifically thinking 3 dimensionally, or in this case “thinking inside the box”.
Like most games, you can find videos of “game play” to help you judge for yourself on google and youtube.com

) Would recommend to anyone who likes puzzles and or numbers...fun, makes you think, games get more challenging as you progress. Can store 4 different players on game...Great for me and a 3 of my younger grandsons. FUN!!! Very happy with game.

) Fun littlle puzzle game. Great for children and no violence. Recommend it highly. Easiest with a stylus but not required to play. I even enjoy playing. The tutorial is a little slow but once finished you know how to play.

If you liked the original picross, or even if you never ever touched a pîcross game before, this is one of the most entertaining DS game on shelf.
It will make you brain think a lot, and it has a great longevity with more than 350 puzzles.
there is even an editor that will make you play even longer. Design, create a puzzle and share it around.
