Pimsleur Quick and Simple Mandarin Chinese (2001, Abridged, Compact Disc)

I like that fact that it is simple to put on an Itouch or Ipod from your computer and easy to listen to and the testing to help you pronounce the tones exactly as it is spoken is of great benefit. Also the fact that the Chinese is spoken at the same speed as native speakers speak is of tremendous value. Otherwise you could never understand mandarin. Great value for the money!!!

I love this basic Mandarin Chinese cds. I started to become familiar with sounds. Learning any language takes a little time. So far I a love it.

I love all Pimsleur CD's. For the time required, I know of no other language learning system that provides nearly the amount of retention. The "graduated interfal recall" method makes the system a delight to use. The work can be tiring, as can be expected, but I just stop whenever necessary and continue the lesson or the next lesson on the next day. This is the first program that I've really been able to stick with and the results have been better than expected!

Haven't used it yet but after reading the reviews, I can't wait to get started. Will purchase another language once I get through this.
