Loved everything about it except for the bluetooth mic. With some online research I was able to find out that the Pioneer bluetooth mic is terrible. I am able to hear everything on the other end, but the person on the other end hears absolutely nothing. I just purchased a Garmin External Mic, and that should fix that. Other than the mic, the design is great, the bluetooth syncing was easy, and I love the fact that you can transfer your contacts and make calls from the head unit! It was quite easy to figure out my way around the menus, and while most people complain about lack of POIs, I am happy to know that I can just download more if I wanted to (which I actually dont think I need that much as I traveled prepared.. fill the tank and know where youre going!). The main thing that sold this headunit, was the fact that the navi screen itself is detachable, which helps me feel alot better when it comes down to theft. Main point is I would deff recommend this headunit, but test your mic before you put everything back together (that is, if you are installing yourself, which wasnt as hard as I thought it would be). And better yet, I paid 250$ for a refurbished, perfectly working, and mint headunit, that retails for 6-700$! Amazing!!

THIS IS A REALLY NICE UNIT HAS EVERYTHING YOU WANT NOW A DAYS IN YOUR CAR STEREO, MP3 PLAYER, IPOD/IPHONE CONNECTION, BLUETOOTH FOR YOUR CELL PHONE, AUX IN JACK FOR MP3 PLAYERS OR PORTABLE DVD PLAYER. BUT HERE ARE SOMETHING YOU NEED TO CHECK FIRST BEFORE YOU BUY THIS UNIT. THE SYSTEM WILL NOT WORK PERFECTLY IF YOU HAVE A EUROPEN CAR LIKE VW, AUDI, MERCEDES OR BWM, THE UNIT HAS A WIRED REMOTE INPUT BUT YOU WILL NEED TO SPEND MAY BE $100 TO GET THE MODULES FOR YOUR CAR STEERING WHEEL BUTTON TO WORK AND SOMETIME IF YOU HAVE APLIFIED REAR SPEAKERS IT WON'T WORK WITH THAT YOU MAY NEED TO INSTALL NEW SPEAKERS AND REWIRE THEM IN ORDER TO MAKE ALL 4 SPEAKERS WORK IN YOUR CAR. THE BLUETOOTH WILL ONLY WORK GOOD IF YOU PHONE IS NEAR THE UNIT OTHERWISE THERE WILL BE STATIC ON THE LISTENERS SIDE.

LAST THIS UNIT IS GOOD FOR ASIAN CARS BUT NOT FOR EUROPEN. SIMPLE.

-Great buy, fascinated by the bluetooth feature, while driving around the base. The navigation system accurate, need a little update or must purchase the flash card expansion. One big negative is the uncomfortable switching and raising the volume to control this device, i realize that it does not use a remote control except for a steering control which can cost a couple of hundred dollars. Other than that it deliver clear sound capabilities.

Really a great head unit has all the bells and whistles and pairs with my wifes phone with no issues! Sound is great even made the factory speakers sound lots better! GPS is good and easy to see! Ipod integration is great! Really nice for the price!

I installed the GPS antenna just below the plastic dash in the 05 VUE so it was out of sight and it works great! picks up the sat signals very quickly!
