Decent game, more for fans of the franchise than gamers.
I am a huge fan of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, an purchased this game out of devotion to my fandom, just to try it out. The game wasn't awful, but you could tell it was made for the fans. The gameplay was, for lack of a better word, trivial. The controls were strange and uncoordinated and I was often slightly frustrated. However, the story follows Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Man's Chest and At World's End's main plot, but also goes into other subplots along the way.
I enjoyed the stage settings and characters, as well as the swashbuckling sword fighting, but I could see where this game would upset gamers.

If you love the Pirates of Carribean movie and the disney carribean series, you would love this game. This game contains full of adventure and action. Great Graphics with a new story line. Play the game and watch the new movie, Will entertain you for hours. Enjoyable last movie and excellent game. Recommended for all ages.

This game is Excellent! It's tons of fun with all the swordplay and the graphics look fantastic! You're in for many hours of fun with this one - you play various characters in the game as well. Sword play is challenging but fun - the more combos you make up the higher your points. Also, signature "kill moves" get unlocked for each character as you gain points. Very cool. You will be happy with this one - it's lots of fun.
