An epic role-playing game on land and at sea, this game is based on the Disney film and attraction, and uses the pirate game Sea Dogs (originally, this was to be the sequel before acquiring the Pirates license) as the basis of its buccaneering. Pirates of the Caribbean takes place in a large group of Caribbean islands during the golden age of piracy and high seas adventure. You take command of a ship and its crew, swordfight with other captains, accept and complete daring quests, chase rumors of dangers and riches, and change allegiances amongst the colonial powers. You can customize your captain, crew, skills, and attributes to their individual liking. During shore leave on the many fanciful islands, players can interact with townspeople and shopkeepers, and explore the wilderness in search of adventure and treasure!

good older game easily addictive. only problem it wont work on xbox 360. you sail ships, trade goods, view the exotic caribbean as never seen before. good graphics, good story. just make sure you have the original xbox for it to use. other than that. great game

Fun game. Love the wide open map and sandbox play. Greta way to pretend to be a pirate.

The actual storyline was a little short and the adding of the "Pirates of the Caribbean" stamp was unnecessary.

It also might be my system itself but the loads times are almost unbearably long.

Over all good time.

My grandson, of all the games, likes this one best! It was first bought in 2003 and due to scratches over time, this is the 3rd time I have purchased this game....Action filled and the only game that he will play with his sister...Highly recommend!

We could not find this game for xbox anywhere. But we found it on EBAY. My son was so happy to get it on Chirstmas morning....
