Album Notes
Spin Doctors: Christopher Barron (vocals); Eric Schinkman (piano, guitar, background vocals); Aaron Comess (keyboards, drums, percussion, background vocals); Mark White (bass).Additional personnel: John Popper (harmonica, background vocals); John Bush (congas, tambourine).Producers include: Spin Doctors, Peter Denenberg, Frankie LaRocka.Recorded at the Power Station & RPM Studios, New York; Acme Recording Studios, Mamaroneck, New York in August & December 1990.The Steve Miller Band of the 90s has made a small impression with this irresistible package. Crammed full of great riffs and licks, tight playing and singing with enthusiasm. The title track together with the wry 'Little Miss Can't Be Wrong' were both hit singles in the wake of the excellent 'Two Princes', one of the few occasions where the cliche of rhyming 'baby' with 'maybe' was completely acceptable. Unpretentious rock music for the 90s and a memorable debut, that they could never come near again.

Editorial Reviews
4 Stars - Excellent - ...will surely delight anyone with their head in the '90s and a chunk of their heart still in the late '60s....hangs together perfectly....this album is full of dynamite...

Great Debut By Semi-Famous Grunge Band

Created: 12/08/09
I know most of us who lived in 90's and who were into the "grunge" scene remember a band by the name of Spin Doctors. There debut Pocket Full Of Kryptonite spurred 3 singles Jimmy Olsen's Blues, Little Miss Can't Be Wrong, and 2 Princes. This album is definitely a most have for anyone from that grunge era. There latter releases are not worth getting because you can sense they stopped caring after PFOK. But, overall if you want to rekindle memories for the 1990's or your a new listener to grunge music, this album is a most have!

Only album you need by The Spin Doctors

Created: 28/01/08
This is the only album you need form this incredible jam band. A mixture of various musical ingredients: "Funk", "Jazz", "Hard Rock", "Blues" and others. All the songs are jewels but my favorite is "Jimmy Olsen's Blues". If you like Blues Traveler, give this a try!
