Only for the Pokemon fanatics
Created: 11/10/08
This game is for the pokefans only. There is not much here to sustain the occasional gamer or the person who does not like turn based action. Also, if you don't have diamond or pearl for the DS, this game has even less to offer. I recall pokemon stadium 2 had more to offer than this. On the other hand, this does break the mold in being the first wifi game for the wii and the graphics are good. I still enjoyed myself playing it but seemed to be more of a nostalgic joy rather than a surprised joy. If like pokemon AND have diamond or pearl, get it.

Good game for Pokemon battling fans. All others, this might not be for you.
| Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

This game, though enjoyable, is really meant for those who own either Pokemon Diamond or Pearl and who have a strong team to import into the game. Otherwise, playing through this game will be frustrating, as the player will have to rely exclusively on rental Pokemon. In general, this is not a game for the casual player; Pokemon Battle Revolution is no Pokemon Stadium, and lacks features such as minigames that made the Stadium series appealing to those new to Pokemon.
If you do own the DS games and are looking for a game that focuses entirely on battling, then this is a purchase to consider. Although the constant battling can become repetitive, seeing your team on the big screen is always nice, and completing certain colosseums in the game can be both challenging and very rewarding. You can even use points earned in the game to purchase useful items that can be sent to the DS games. Finally, the options for battling friends via Wi-Fi offer significant replay value and help extend the life of a game that some might consider too short.

Okay game for casual and hardcore Pokemon D/P Fans.

This is the perfect example of a game to buy on eBay if you are a casual or hardcore Pokemon gamer. The MSRP of $50 is too much for Pokemon Battle Revolution, but if you can find it used on eBay for around $35 you will get a game at an appropriate price. The primary reason for this price value is the necessity of having either Pokemon Diamond or Pearl for the Nintendo DS to truly enjoy this game.
For a hardcore Pokemon gamer, this is a very useful purchase as it allows you to more readily acquire some rare items to transfer into your Diamond or Pearl game, as well as play online with your most powerful Pokemon teams. For the casual or younger Pokemon gamers, they will have the most fun playing with their Pokemon in 3D.
Overall, this game is not the $50 MSRP, but if you are a hardcore Pokemon fan, or just a casual player of Diamond or Pearl, buying it on eBay is the perfect way to get the game at a fair price.

Great Game, but avg. graphics

If you have diamond/pearl, then you have to get this game. When you battle in this game with your pokemon from diamond/pearl, you really can see the attacks of pokemons like Dialga or Palkia. The game is very similar to pokemon stadium,
where as there is no RPG/story mode. The meaning of the game is that you rent a
battle bass(a pass that contains 6 pokemon to use), to get passes from the boss
trainer in each Colosseum. Playing with Wi-Fi is also fun. Graphics, even though with component cables, are just average and not the strong part of the game.

Pass on this one...

I bought this for my girlfriend. We popped it in and it took us about 30 minutes to be able to battle each other. It is over complicated and I HAD to load my DS game data to be able to use multi player out of the box. There are no mini games which was a big part of what I enjoyed with the older pokemon stadium games. The battle animation is still horrible. This game brings very little to the table. Not recommended.
