Pokemon Pinball: Ruby & Sapphire (Nintendo Game Boy Advance, 2003)

Product description

Product Information
Pokemon Pinball has all the features you'd demand of a pinball game, including bonus tables, lots of bumpers and ways to score massive points. As with your standard videogame pinball game, the left button on the D-pad and the A-button control the flippers with the R/L triggers used to shake the table. The catch here is that everything is themed in Pokemon. Instead of a ball, you make use of a Pokeball. Instead of standard bumpers, you're hitting the Pokeball against other Pokemon, and the ultimate goal is of course to "catch 'em all". The game features 200 Pokemon, two main tables, and link cable support.

If you love pinball, and you've got a Gameboy Advance or a DS/DS Lite, chances are you'll enjoy Pokemon Pinball. It helps to actually enjoy Pokemon, however. Pokemon Pinball takes place in the third generation of Pokemon games, so there's a mix of old and new Pokemon to fill the Pokedex with, with a few extra hard-to-obtain bonuses. There's only two boards for you to play on, and one tends to be easier than the other (Ruby), but you've got to play both to fill your Pokedex. In true Pokemon fashion, you'll need to catch and evolve your Pokemon to earn points, bonus chances and activate the ever-popular slot machine for some neat bonuses.

Anyway, if you can pick this up cheap and have the means to play it, it's definitely worth it. A truly underrated gem on the GBA. It CAN tend to be a bit tough from time to time, but it helps to spend the first few hours learning how the boards work and learning to trap your ball using the flippers so you can hit your ball accurately. Once you've got that down, you'll easily be earning billions of points and filling your Pokedex in no time!

Arcade Pokemon Catch Them All Game

Created: 29/07/06
This is one of the few pinball games made for Game Boy Advance and my favorite. It has more to it than just getting your high score. Like the other Pokemon games it has the aspect of trying to catch them all. There are two different pinball versions to play in this game pak (ruby and sapphire). Some Pokemon can only be found in ruby and some can only be found in sapphire. This game is a fun game that all ages can master and enjoy. Great for young kids to use and increase hand skills. Can you catch them all?

Pokemon pinball Ruby & Sappire GBA-BUY NEW!!! WORTH $

Created: 07/07/08
This is a very fun game that my kids just love! Anyone who knows anything about Pokemon, knows that it's all about catching all the guys in the balls.. This has a nice twist to it, making it a pinball version & including both the Sapphire & Ruby versions. BUT, BE SURE TO BUY NEW!!! If you buy this game used, and it has already been started, played, solved, etc., THERE IS NO WAY TO START A NEW GAME!!! I have done my research on several different sites...there is no way to start a new game on this particular game. So, spend the extra $ if you're buying this game & buy new!!

Best Gameboy Advance Pinball?

Created: 10/12/06
I like Pokemon but i dont love Pokemon. Like everybody and their mama i jumped on the Pokemon bandwagon when the game was first released on the gameboy. After Pokemon Snap for N64 I stopped caring. Which leads me to this review i wanted a pinball game for my Gameboy Advance and Pokemon Pinball fit the bill. Trust me when i say there are not that mant pinball games for the gameboy. If i am not mistaking there are only three and this is the best of the three. What i like about this game is the graphics and the ability to catch pokemon throughout the game. This adds a nice gameplay element. What i dislike is that there are only two boards/stages to play on although there are a couple of bonus stages. I decided to buy it because i wanted a pinball game for my gameboy advance. i think i made the best choice.
