Pokemon Yellow Struggle Within Modernity
Created: 20/11/10
The game itself is greater than expectations in the past. With given features to explore and venture with a pocket sized Pikachu accompanying a future Pokemon Trainer in the making. While it is the start of gaming development, the details and images themselves have become more refined from predecessors (RED and BLUE). The game is revolutionary for it's time, and a reminder to gamers as a classic within NINTENDO's hand-held gaming industry.
YELLOW simulates the variety of presented situations that pertained to the icon counterpart (ASH) The game story keeps the player interested long enough to capture credible monsters within various portions of the game.
There seems to be less interaction for players to engage in after certain criteria of the game has been accomplished. This is especially significant when facing the established gym leaders of the game as once they are defeated players can no longer engage in "trainer vs leader" games, limiting players to a lesser comfort of participating in ever further challenges between these characters.
In the interest for purchasing, most of the merchandise is placed under the misnomer of playing true on enhanced platforms such as Gameboy Advance and Gameboy SP... And while it is true that the game is playable, its functional core, the trading system is far from easy. Regular Link Cables of the platformers Gameboy Advanced and Gameboy SP do not support interaction when applied to YELLOW. A different complexity when using the Gameboy Advance for trading is method garnered to appeal less to audiences seeking technical simplicity.
The standards for today's rating of the game is daft and often solemn to players as there must be an incorporated presence of cables and a second companion, in comparison to now's POKEMON interaction granting players limits of endless possibilities with a manner from within a house and a simple application of Wi-Fi compatibility.
It is in best interest for players to discern whether solemn interaction or a simplified network field is right for the choosing.

Pokemon Yellow Version is the first Conglomerate game in the series, combining both Red and Blue versions here in the United States. The game follows the adventures of the famous Pokemon anime character: Ash and his beloved and loyal companion Pikachu. The goal is to collect as many Pokemon as humanly possible, and collect the eight gym badges to take on the Pokemon league.
For late 90's standards, this game is pretty advanced, but against today's standards, it's rather blocky and slow with odd graphics. Your starter Pokemon is Pikachu, so you don't have much of a choice, but you do have access to all three of the original starter Pokemon from Blue and Red. As per usual for Pokemon games, A is select, B is cancel, start opens the menu, and select does nothing. Which reminds me, you only have one compartment in your bag, so I'd suggest making great use of your PC boxes.
I'll admit that my first Pokemon game was Sapphire, released in 2003, but I do love this game for some odd reason. The world's most famous Pokemon is your starter, you can be whatever gender you want to be, and you still get to catch them all. Though some of the repetitive attacks are annoying, or your attacks miss more than once, this is a great game! I'd recommend this for both the nostalgic Pokemon child of the 90's, or any Pokemon new comer who is curious about its roots in the Nintendo world.
A fantastic five out of five for me :)

This review is for pokemon silver, not pokemon yellow.
Pokemon silver is one of the most detailed games i've played. it is 10X better than blue and red versions, with more trainers to battle, places to discover, and pokemon to catch! Travelling form Johto to Kanto you will have a a ball! call your buddies up and battle em! its gonna be a wild ride

Pokemon Yellow: Special Pikachu Edition

Pokemon Yellow was the most innovative game of its time. Launched before the release of Gold and Silver, it acted as a stepping stone between Kanto and Johto. However, most people treated it as the best in the series. The game itself had many hours of gameplay and many goals to accomplish. Gotta Catch Em All!

Pokemon Yellow: Special Pikachu Edition (Game Boy)

This is a very fun game in which provides many hours of entertainment. Battle as a miniature 'you' who you can name your name or any of your favorite names! After that, you are able to battle and catch new Pokemon! Once you establish an elite force of Pokemon, you are then able to go on and battle trainers and other Pokemon League Members which hold badges you need to continue into the Pokemon League and become the best Pokemon Trainer ever!
Throughout your voyage, you are able to play many other games and challenges that add a little extra to the game.
Altogether, I would highly recommend this game for anyone who has a Gameboy; another plus for purchasing this game is: these games never lose their value; they are always in demand! You can resell it fast if you decide you don't like the game for any reason!
Hope it helps! Good Luck!
