Good stuff!

Created: 08/11/08
Still reading through the book having finished chapter 8 of 13 chapters, but it is good because it deals with apologetics in a general and fun reading way. Through addressing thinking such as "God is dead" and "religion is the greatest danger to world peace" it shows how the opposite is true. For instance, incredibly and factually more people have died at the hands of athiests and humanists than biblical Christianity. So when people bring up the Crusades, (as if defending oneself against criminals/oppressors is bad) then throw the fascism, Nazism, communism of the current century back at 'em. And that still isn't bringing up government experiments on people, both known and unknown and so much more death at the hands of those who have an affinity against their Creator's right over all his creation. The book discusses the alleged inconsistencies and variety of supposed errors (historical, scientific, moral, etc.) of the Bible. It's a great all around and general apologetics book although it has good specifics in certain areas that provided sufficient information to allow further research on a specific apologetic topic for even more granular/refined research. Definitely a good read from my perspective.
