Population 436 is A Rental, but a Really Good Rental!!!!
Even though the previews and the Straight-To-DVD release make it look like a B-Level Horror film, it's not.
Population 436 is a great movie. The story is awesome, although some people will disagree, and the acting is A+. Jeremy Sisto and Fred Durst give great performances as do the rest of the supporting cast.
This movie will have you thinking right up until the end.
The film comes with with 2 endings, which I feel was a good choice as it keeps everybody happy.
Final Verdict:

Rent or Buy?: This movie isn't going to win any awards, and unless you collect Fred Durst memorabilia you'll probably be happy just renting it.

This is a really great movie. It's about a town that keeps it's population at 436 no matter what they have to do. It is not a real scary movie like you would expect a horror movie to be but it is suspenseful movie that will keep you guessing, and thinking right to the end & not at all boring. I feel this is a great movie to add to your collection you won't regret it. I give it a 5 Star rating out of 5.

I have rented this one twice and will probably end up buying it as soon as the price comes down. I am a big horror movie buff and while this is not as gory as most horror movies, it is quite suspensful as you try to figure out what the underlying plot it.
If you've seen Wicker Man and liked it, you'd like this. The plot is not the same, but it has that same sort of feel as the main character spends time in this town and soon realizes something is amiss, so goes about trying to uncover the mystery.
I would definitely rent first, then buy if you like it.

) Overall this was a pretty good movie. I buy most horror movies so when I saw the preview of this movie I decided to buy it. It wasn't as good as say "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" , but it was worth the money.
