Potty Train Your Child in Just One Day by Teri Crane and Toni Robino (2006, Paperback)

Potty Train Your Child in Just One day was a good reading book. I have a 2 1/2 year grandchild and was trying to train before the next baby arrives. It is hard to do when everyone is working outside the house and didn't want the babysitter to do all the work. I think it is a good concept and I'm anxious on trying in the next couple of weeks.

This was an average book on potty training. I was very excited to receive it and thought it would totally change the way I have been trying to potty train my son, but as I read on I realized that although the potty training party that the books focuses on was a different idea from other things that I had heard, your child will not be "potty trained" in just one day. Your child will learn the basics of going on the potty every so often that you suggest to your child to go on the potty, but it doesn't mean that at the end of the day your child will be telling you that he/she has to go or will walk to the bathroom him/herself. I had already achieved this in one day with my son, he would go on the potty evertime I sat him on it, but it doesn't mean that he is potty trained. All in all, if you have not idea about potty training, it does have some good advice, but it is definetly not the miracle answer that it seems to be by the title.

I bought this becasue why wouldn't you want to potty train your kid in one day. It had some great ideas. However, my daughter is 18 months and wont understand the whole concept of her potty training her doll and then she gets potty trained as well. She is ready to be potty trained, just not with this method. I do work with a lot 2-3 year olds and I'm giving this book to those moms. Most have said they have heard of this. A+++ seller. the book was in great condtion. YAY HALF.com!!! gotta love the .75 books!

I like that the book gives practical suggestions for potty training. I decided to purchase the book to help my granddaughter's parents help her to learn to use the potty.

I like the idea of this book, I haven't finished the book so I haven't inplamented it yet but I am determined to have a more enjoyable experance potty training my second child and I think this book might be the key to that suscess.
