It's only natural then, that Stevie Nicks, who defined the rock-goddess-as-witch-queen image, should contribute two songs to the soundtrack. The spooky, Robert Johnson-meets-Donovan vibe of Nick Drake's "Black Eyed Dog" makes it a natural for inclusion as well. Less obvious selections include quintessential party tunes like Marvin Gaye's "Got To Give It Up" and Harry Nilsson's gloriously goofy "Coconut." However unlikely the aforementioned cuts might seem here, their inclusion helps make PRACTICAL MAGIC an eclectic, well-rounded affair.

Great condition came quickly.
This is a "must replace if I loose" of my collection- & honestly my friends keep stealing it! Great classics from Elvis, Marvin Gaye,Joni Mitchell, & Stevie Nicks (4 names you never thought you'd see together!) as well as some much newer, less known, great artists. Whoever put this compilation together knew how to let you feel on your own- not try to force it down your throat. Great for listening to when driving. The best part is it has the "Coconut" song(you know you know which one I mean). This is a real album- and by that I mean it's something meant to enjoy the moment you are living in no matter which moment that is. You can listen to this with friends in their 20's or your parents and either way you won't hear any complaints.

Im a huge Stevie Nicks fan and also loved the movie "Practical Magic". To my knowledge, there are two Stevie Nicks songs on the soundtrack that I had never heard of outside the movie. I had to get it just for the music. The rest of the music on it is great as well.

This is a fantastic blend of music from the motion picture. Stevie Nicks, Elvis, Joni Mitchell, Marvin Gaye, what WOW factor. Alan Silvestri wrote a great theme song and Veritas that simply takes you back to the feeling of the movie.

I'm not a big fan of soundtracks in general but this one really hits the mark.

Very enjoyable cd. It has a great variety of music from instrumentals to vocals. I particularly enjoy the Stevie Nicks songs with Sheryl Crow singing backup. I recently watched the movie and it brought the urge to buy the soundtrack. I would recommend purcahsing this cd.

I liked the movie so the CD was a no brainer. The variation of music on it is great, everything from Stevie Nicks to Elvis....Well worth the price on Ebay.
