Movie synopsis
The British television series PREHISTORIC PARK blends live-action drama with stunning CGI animation and animatronics to tell the JURASSIC PARK-like story of a scientist (Nigel Marven) who travels back in time to save dinosaurs from extinction by bringing them to the present day. But just as in Spielberg's classic film, the prehistoric beasts begin to wreak havoc on the modern-day world, resulting in an action-packed showdown in which the very survival of humanity rests in the balance.

) Prehistoric Park - is a 6 part series - Basic story line: it is about a modern day Park (zoo) that has the ability to go back in time and bring back extinct animals, insects, birds and reptiles to a realistic Prehistoric Park. With the presentation of story telling and special effects help make these 6 stories come to life.
There is adventure around each corner, blended with every day problems of having 9 tons of dinosaurs showing up from no where, toss in a fast pace chase from a saber tooth tiger that you are trying to save - you end up with show that makes you fell of being right by the side of the main charters though out the show.
At the same time these shows are filled with excellent educational information, about the times of the period in which they are saving a prehistoric creature. Great learing tool for teachers, but best of all these shows are great for family viewing for all ages.
Only problem I have with this product is: it's only 6 shows long. Would of love more progams on this line.

Great sereies for any Dino-Lover!!

) I got this for my three year old son as he is completely obsessed with Dinosaurs and Nigel Marven, he even insists we call him "Nigel" sometimes! The series is very well done and interesting for everyone in the family. The dinosaurs look so real it's amazing! My son can not get enough of this show, and honestly neither can I!

My 5 year old loves this series, it is the only thing he asks to watch anymore. I wish they had another series just like it, we love Nigel! The whole family can watch, and it does not drive you nuts like most kids shows!

) Hi, I guess I'll start by explaining why I rated it "good". Well it's simple. The movie was a great interaction between live & animation. The storyline was enjoyable to watch & the kids loved all the dinos! All in all it was great entertainment for the whole family (me, wife, 11 year old daughter & 8 year old daughter) The only complaint, I wish it was more suited for a high-def tv. Although it did still look very good upscaled.
