The Price is Right: 2010 Edition (Wii, 2009)

This edition of The Price is Right for Nintendo Wii is a lot better than the first one. There is more pricing games, and the game plays more like the actual game show. In Party Mode, for example... you play contestant row three time (for all four players), and play three pricing games. Whoever wins the most money after three trips to contestant row and three pricing games, automatically goes to the showcase, where the remaining three players go on to spin the Big Wheel. Overall... I was a lot happier with the gameplay. It would have been nice to play with your Mii instead of generic characters, but I wouldn't let that ditract you from buying this game. Great idea for the holidays.

This is a Wii game build from the popular TV game show. It is a lot of fun for family friends and who ever you decide to ask to play.

The draw backs: the way in which you actually play contestants row then a game and then back to contestants row instead of waiting for the other players to possibly make it to the showcase as well. Hopefully the next addition will address this. It also lacks a personality to the flow of the game ... no BOB no DREW ... NOBODY!!!

Overall this is such a great game!!! PERFECT for an Wii player!!!

The game by UBISOFT is very fun to play and is great for the whole family. I bought this game because I had bought Press Your Luck by UBISOFT and was pleased with that game as well. The only draw back I can see with The Price is Right 2010 Edition is that it loads on the slow side.

This is a great family or party game that has many of the famous games and prizes just like you see on the television show. 'Single player' mode is quite fun and can be played in two different ways, classic mode or 3 strike mode. 'Party mode' is more fun with 3-4 players than it is with just 2. You play more games and not everyone has a guaranteed a spot in the showcase showdown when you have 3-4 players. The famous $1.00 wheel is not used when you have just 2 players.
The choice of playable characters you get to choose from is limited and the customization of them is severely lacking, but if you like playing the games that you see on the television show and you want to have a couple of hours of fun with the family or a group of friends, this is good game to accomplish just that.

If you are one of those people who sit and watch the show telling everyone how you would do so much better than give this a shot. This puts you right in the show without the embarrassment that is. However the thing I dont like about the game is that it doesnt take long before you are seeing repeats in the items not that I can remember the prices anyways but I still see some new things as well. The game play is good, and there are two modes so that you can play games more often. I think it is fun and addicting and I dont even care for the show much. It's worth $20-$25 in my opinion. If you like the show than you should enjoy this game.
