Princess in Love (DVD, 2006)

This movie is about the loveless marriage of Diana to Prince Charles. The film adequately describes their unhappiness as husband and wife. The film then goes into great detail to show how Diana suffered the rejection and loneliness of her life. She was very vulnerable when the handsome horseback rider rode into her life. Diana took riding lessons from him, and the film shows that she was the agressive one in the resulting affair. Diana seemed madly in love with James Hewitt, and in the end it seemed to be he that wanted out of the relationship, which broke Diana's heart. The film does not go on to show the other affairs Diana had after this. I thought Julie Cox, as Diana, overplayed the part at times. I felt that she was an inexperienced actress. The other actors were very good. If anyone likes to dream about Diana, and her quest for real love, this film would fulfill that desire.

I GOT THIS DVD BECAUSE I TRULY LOVE DIANA THE PRINCESS OF WALES. BEFORE I PURCHASE I WAS READING THE DIFFERENT REVIEWS OF DIFFERENT LADIES PUT IN THEIR OWN OPINION WHICH EVERY LADY HAS THEIR OPINION. JENNIFER COX WHO PLAYED DIANA DID AN EXCELLENT ROLE ON HOW SHE ACTED LIKE DIANA, SHE MAY NOT LOOK LIKE DIANA IT WAS THE STORY BEHIND DIANA'S LIFE. YEARS AGO BACK SEVERAL LADIES PORTRAYED DIANA IN SOME MOVIES THAT I WATCHED, EACH AND EVERY LADY HAD THEIR OWN UNIQUE WAY OF BEING DIANA. I LOVED THIS MOVIE VERY MUCH AND WILL WATCH AGAIN OVER AND OVER THAT IS HOW MUCH I LOVED IT.

If you love Princess Diana, Thaen youl love this DVD! I love the fact that even though Prince Charles had an affair of his own, it showed Diana having to live her own life and not caring what the Royal Family thinks, considering what she had to go through!

This is a disappointment in all areas - bad acting (the actress doesn't even look like Diana), bad writing, and worst of all it is boring! Would not recommend this DVD at all.
