Prison Break - Season 1 (Blu-ray Disc, 2007, 6-Disc Set)

This is a fantastic series! If you like high intensity drama and suspense this is for you! This is one of my favorite shows (right behind Lost!)I got hooked to the series on day one and still continue to watch it on Fox! This series (well at least for season one...) is about a man named Lincoln Burrows who was framed for the murder of the Vice President brother and sent to death row...where? Right in Illinois (where im from...so if you are from Chi Town its really cool to see where they filmed this!) and he stayed in the Joliet Prison. His brother who is an engineering genius - Michael Scoffield robs a bank so he can go to jail to do one thing...free his brother.

This series takes so many twist and turns. Its really amazing to see Scofield's amazing and detail plans to escape. He also makes "friends" at the prison to help him escape...

John Abruzzi: - Mob boss -
Sucre: Scofield's cell mate. All around nice guy, in for robbery
Charles Westmoreland: Legendary robber - stole millions
T Bag: - Overall sleaze - murderer and rapist
C Note: Iraqi Soldier
Tweener - Vanilla Ice wannabe, rats them out to the police - in for stealing
Sara Tancredi: Governors Daughter that happends to be the doctor for the prison - ends up being Scofields girlfriend later
Veronica Donovan: Lincoln's girlfriend (okay ex...)and lawyer who fights for the truth
Nick Savrinn: Project Justice Lawyer - helps Veronica out
LJ: Lincoln's son


Of course there are many MANY enemies to take this small team down

Paul Kellerman: One of my fav characters..not sure why...overall a killer assassin. He gets the jobs done

Henry Pope: Warden of the Prison - actually hes a pretty nice guy that follow the book

Brad bellick: Basically the enemy of the whole season 1. He is overall bad A-hole in prison.

Yeah if you just started watching the series at season 3...you have to watch season 1. It is so amazing and so suspenseful. Every character are so different and even background characters have their part in the series. everyone effects everything in the series! Watch it today! LOL!

This is the best serie I have ever seen. Why ? The action is the main part of this great serie with great actors which were unknown before...
The image quality is beyong high definition... very good to see such an image quality on our tv...
I hope they plan to sort the second season on Bluray disc too.

Picture and sound blew me away. Blu-Ray interactive features were less interesting though. Normal Fox HD is 720p and low bandwidth whereas these are full 1080p high bandwidth pictures - truly excellent.

i love prision break and i want every season this season is the start of the best show ever on tv and i hope to soon have all the seasons

It is a fantastic thrill ride. Even though it is alot like a "soap", it keeps your interest through the whole season.
