Quantum Leap season 3 DVD's
Created: 06/05/10
Quantum Leap is one of my favorite TV shows. I can't imagine having one season and not having all of them. For that reason, I would not hesitate to recommend season 3. I had heard that some of the original music was replaced on some of the seasons because of some copyright thing. This made me hesitate to buy, but in the end I chose to buy the series sets anyway. It was the only way to have them. I don't regret buying them and didn't miss the omitted or replaced music. Do some research to make sure I am correct about the music. Others say that region 2 has the original music, so if you have a player that plays region 2 DVD's, you are set. Either way, it is still a great set. Quantum Leap is a daring sci-fi series that depicts the idea of time travel and was successful. It's funny and serious, captivating and clean. In my mind it's the first of its kind to take time travel and make it believable. And the fact that it lasted 5 seasons makes it impressive. More impressive is that it's fun to watch over and over. It seems to me that it lead the way into a whole new kind of TV show. Unique in it’s time. I agree with another review, it's sad that they didn't take the time to acquire the rights to the songs and keep the sets consistent with the original shows. It takes the excellence out of the sets, but they are still very good. I bought all 5 seasons.

Quantum Leap was the one well thought series that came to television. Sam and Al was the great parnters and the advance they find themselves into was great writer. The stories was base on real facts and sometime on very personal levels.

This is one of the better seasons of Quantum Leap. The shows include a Halloween show where Sam is a writer and has to figure out a series of murders. This is a must have for any Quantum Leap fan.
