) I love this book because it tells the steps in plain, simple english that somseone can understand who's not familiar with all the 'sewing lingo'. The illustrations in this book are the absolute best that I've seen, and I have purchased 4 books so far trying to get the information I needed to learn quilting. This book also has really cool projects in it that look beautiful, and I can't wait to do them. I'm working on my first granddaughter's quilt (she's 2) and I wanted it to be perfect, something that would be saved. Now that I have all this information, it will be! If you want to quilt, don't mess around and buy other books, get this one and then you can say "OH, NOW I GET IT!"

) This book is fantastic! I am already on my way to making a lovely double wedding ring quilt (which is one of the hardest). I read the book cover to cover and the tips and hints were fantastically helpful. I knew how to pick my materials, threads, and what tools I needed to make this endeavor work - so far so great > :) Thank you Quilting for Dummies!

) This is a great book for beginners. It starts with the basics and takes you to the more expert stitches. Very easy to read and understand. Great for someone who is just starting out.

The book was used but in excellent condition and the best reference manual I have used recently. My decision to purchase was to try and correct many quilting mistakes I have made. I started with a quilting kit and now I'm hooked.
