Solid RPG!

I like RPG's and I really like RPG's that use real time battle systems, don't get me wrong, I love my turned based battles and the stratagy involved but their is just something fun about swinging the sword and casting the magic yourself rather than just giving a command too. Radiata's battle system is fun if you stick with it, I say stick with it because it start's off slowly because you have very few moves at your disposal at first but this is where it gets good. You begin too learn new moves and each move has a point value and you can only equip up too a certain amount of points this amount however does go up as you level up so basicly if you can equip moves up too 15 points you could do a basic up down slash at 3 points a fast side too side slash at 4 points a jumping slash at 6 points and then finish with a quick 2 point hack, it is very hard too explain it is better too play it but basicly you will be able too make Jack fight in a manner that is all your own, customize him too your liking it is very cool, I hope that helps and was not too confusing. The story is very basic, it deals with a coming war between humans and creatures and eventualy you will have too make a choice as too which side your on which leads too excellent replay value because depending upon which side you chose the story enemies and bosses you fight will all change. The graphics and music all fit the game very well. So if you like RPG's like Tales of Symphonia or StarOcean: Till the End of Time which was made by this same team you should enjoy Radiata Stories.

Radiata Stories

This video game by Square Enix is a classical RPG. It has great graphics and story line. It gives you options what side to choose for the conflict. I was a little disappointed that it only took 35 hours to complete. I purchased it as I was looking for RPG and specifically from Square Enix as I have enjoyed all the Final Fantasy, Dragonquest, and Kingdom Hearts RPG's.

Another great game from Tri-Ace, Star Ocean's creators. Colorful and detailed graphic, beautiful music and a good cast. And don't forget, its publisher it's Square-Enix, so buy with confidence!

This is one game that will slice up expectations!

I like how it is a average/lowly RPG with its own charm. I like how any reviewer gave this game either a few minutes (and hated it) or played it all the way (and missunderstood it). This is for those who really don't look for the ultra super model game of all time. This game is made for those who will push aside expectations and give the fat chick a chance. I have a place to go, and that place is gonna be Radiata Stories. ( Cue American Flag background! )
Honestly though, I like the main character's intro. The Level of detail (where implimented) and the overall style is nice to see. This game won't stand up to powerhouses such as Dragon Quest 8 or any Final Fantasy I've EVER Played, but why should it?! This game has charm and a soft spot for the predictable. I say: ya ever play a bunch of rpgs then after awhile start blasting the later ones for being to much like different versions of the ones you LOVED back when you were impressed? Give it a chance and remember why 007 Goldeneye (N64) was kick ass back then and merely nostalgiac now. Give this game your time like you did back then and see that a lot of what is in here, you would have had the patience for back a few years ago. Don't assume games MUST all live past the FULL list of your newlly aquired expectations. Or, just don't try this game and continue assuming that every game that gets you excited is actually a good game.....(I'm looking at you any recent first person shooter)
In closing: I have devoted my time to games only to find their failings. I can now make a case for myself on personally creating many several PERFECTED videogames if given the chance. But I think we all need to just sit down, sometimes, and say "I'm gonna play this game so I have somthin to do." Then maybe, just maybe, we can all stop being big babies who fund the ocean of Halos and Call of Duties. (Yes....I know......but look at the differences between them!!!!!) If you complain about Radiata Stories being bad for lack of changes being usefull, try looking at several new games and stripping them down to their previous game's level and seeing just how similar they are. Jury, Your Honor, I rest my case. (Don't roll your eyes, if you suddenly developed telekenisis, you might throw somthing very dear to you!!!)

Radiata Stories is a fantastic game that lets you stroll through the world that Square has created at your own pace. Filled with hundreds of colorful characters and vibrant maps you can spend hours playing this game and enjoy every minute. You are however limited to only controlling your character even though their are up to three other characters is your party. Think Final Fantasy XII only more cartoon like. For myself personally I could not survive without the guide from Brady games. To recruit some of the most powerful characters in the game you have to achieve very subtle and often unnoticeable goals. That aside for the money and the generation of consoles this game was released on it is a stand up game. I can only hope that Square Enix will revisit this formula or the magical world of Radiata in the current generation of consoles.
