Raining Up - Mairead (CD 2006)

Created: 03/08/06
"The Celtic Woman" is fantastic Irish music. I have seen them in concert and enjoyed their "Celtic Woman CD" so much I decided to purchase each artists individual music CD's and thank goodness I did. They are the greatest!!! I highly recommend this relaxing, comforting, Irish cultural-soulful music. In today's music culture they are a breath of fresh air. They are so musically talented and they sing like Irish Angels. Mairead (her name) reminds me of a little fairy and can play the fiddle like no other person I have ever seen or heard...FANTASTIC!

Raining up Mairead Nesbitt

First of all I think Mairead is amazing, She is a great musician and plays what makes people feel good. She is really great with The Riverdance and Celtic Women touring troup. I just wanted to hear her play great violin, I wanted to hear fun peppy playing that moves the soul. I felt it was to experimental, non traditional and electronic, almost steril. Love when she played her violin. I am a Mairead fan. I want her to kick it on another solo album but make in the traditional fiddle and mid evil musical sound with the use of live musicians and less sequenced and experimental. One more thing, I am not saying that the cd was bad, it was good just not what I expected from this explosive and amazing performer.

We love Irish fiddle music, this CD has it all. A little fast and some slow. Gets you into a good feeling. Will continue to get more when they come out. Mairead is one of the girls in Celtic Woman, and we really like them.

The music of Mairead from Celtic Women is fantastic. She is a mix of relaxation and inspires a journey back to the old country. Mairead is a rare talent.

This is the BEST CD ever!

I LOVE this CD. Fiddle is one of my favorite styles of music. This is the best one out there. I have watched Mairead play some tunes on Lord of the Dance and Feet of Flames and her stage presence is awesome. When I heard about this CD, I had to buy it. It was all worth it. I listen to it all the time! It's so great. The first track is so cool! If you like jammin' fiddle and sweet waltzes, this is a must.
