Rare & Lovely Dolls: Two Centuries of Beautiful Dolls by John Darcy Noble and John Noble (2000, Hardcover)

A book with a interesting 'short history' on the few dolls in book. But was a bit disappointed in how 'few dolls' were actually in the book. Think if I had seen the actual book in store would have passed.. still with that said it is a nice book for the discount price and did enjoy reading. So if you collect Antique Dolls, guess you should add this to your book collection.

I wanted photographic description in big colorful pictures of dolls and theyr costumes from around 1800 to maybe late 1870s. There is some good stuff on this era in this book, which will most likely make the average reader happy. I would've loved to see more specializing on this particular era, figuring from the picture on the cover, but all in all, it's a nice, good quality book, that offers much information, thanks.
