The Reason [ECD/HyperCD] by Hoobastank (CD, Dec-2003, Island)

I had a friend tell me that I had to get this CD, that I would love it, even though I had never heard of the band. I was a bit unsure at first because I didn't even know what kind of music Hoobastank played. So I looked up the lyrics for the music and after reading some of them, I decided it was worth a try. I am glad I gave the band a chance. I have to say this is one of the best CD's I have bought in a long time. They really rock!! I keep the CD in my car and jam while I am on my way to and from work. There is not a song on the whole CD that I don't like. Everyone is totally awesome. I like the fact that they play really rocking songs, then turn around and play slower songs too. I have told many of my friends that they need to hear the CD, and a few have went out to buy it for them selves. I can't say enough good about this one. If you don't have it, GET it. You will not be disapointed. I have even went out and got another Hoobastank CD because I figured if I like this one so well the others have to be just as good. I was wight on that too. I hope you enjoy this CD as much as I do!!! Great job Hoobastank...Keep up the good work!!!

I bought the CD for the song, The Reason, and ended up becoming a fan of not only the entire album with its well written lyrics and excellent composing, but also of the band itself. Excellent CD, excellent group of musicians! You'll love the whole album!

This is a great CD. I bought it just for the song "The Reason" and it was worth it. This band rocks! Anybody that likes music you can actually understand will like it.
