I love this movie. Had to have it on DVD after I wore out the VHS. Great story line and wonderful for the whole family. Little children as well as those who lived through these times will love this one. I am giving a couple of these out as Christmas gifts to my family. A real must for everyone. Animal lovers will love this story and if you liked Old Yeller you will sure like this one.

just what I was looking for. thanks. I watched as soon as I home from work. this has always been one of my favorite movies. I had loaned my first one and it was never returned, I was sadden to have lost it to someone who said that they didn't have it. It is a great movie to remind us of how things were and how much someone could love their animals.

I bought this for my son. (To me the original movie was the best.) He loves dogs and coon hunting... Great classic family movie!! He has watched it at least 20 times since we got it.

    Wrong item sent

I BOUGHT Where the Red Fern Grows, but was sent the sequel. Another job that was probably off-sourced to some foreign country where they don't read English.

This is and excellent and timeless story that the whole family should enjoy. I know one of my daughters checked the book out from the library on a regular basis. It is a little on the sad side yet well worth watching more than once. A great movie to add to your collection. It has a moral and great scenery.
