Awakening in the hospital after a car crash believing that she is a single, twenty-five-year-old sales associate, Lexi discovers that she has lost three years in her life and she is married to a handsome millionaire, but her perfect new life soon begins to go awry.

With the same wicked humor and delicious charm that have won her millions of devoted fans, Sophie Kinsella, author of the #1 New York Times bestseller Shopaholic & Baby, returns with an irresistible new novel and a fresh new heroine who finds herself in a life-changing and utterly hilarious predicament….

When twenty-eight-year-old Lexi Smart wakes up in a London hospital, she’s in for a big surprise. Her teeth are perfect. Her body is toned. Her handbag is Vuitton. Having survived a car accident—in a Mercedes no less—Lexi has lost a big chunk of her memory, three years to be exact, and she’s about to find out just how much things have changed.

Somehow Lexi went from a twenty-five-year-old working girl to a corporate big shot with a sleek new loft, a personal assistant, a carb-free diet, and a set of glamorous new friends. And who is this gorgeous husband—who also happens to be a multimillionaire? With her mind still stuck three years in reverse, Lexi greets this brave new world determined to be the person she…well, seems to be. That is, until an adorably disheveled architect drops the biggest bombshell of all.

Suddenly Lexi is scrambling to catch her balance. Her new life, it turns out, comes complete with secrets, schemes, and intrigue. How on earth did all this happen? Will she ever remember? And what will happen when she does?

"SHOPAHOLIC powerhouse [Sophie] Kinsella delights again with her latest, a winning if unoriginal tale of amnesia striking an ambitious shrew and changing her life for the better."

REMEMBER ME? TRADE SOFT-COVER

The premise to this book has been done before, but not quite the way Sophie Kinsella does it. I only began reading her books recently and love her style of writing. She is hilarious!
Lexi wakes up in the hospital after a car accident, she has lost her memory and finds out that 3 whole years have passed. What's more disturbing is that she isn't the same Lexi she remembers. Her teeth are no longer crooked and she is married to a very rich and handsome man! On top of that she learns that she is now head of the department that she use to work in and all her old friends hate her. She is completely stumped, more so because she finds that even though her husband, Eric, is a hunky millionaire, she is not attracted to him at all. How do you figure out what happened to you three years ago that turned you into the wicked witch?
This book has some funny laugh out loud moments. She has to stumble backwards to figure things out. This won't tax your brain but will give you plenty of smiles. Ms. Kinsella has to turn Cinderella back into her former self. The characters are well written and it is an easy read.....very enjoyable with a few surprises here and there.

Not As Memorable

Once again I enjoyed this book by Sophie Kinsella. She is a very gifted writer with a unique voice and wit. Of course when reading most of her books you need to keep in mind that it is fiction and that most of the scenarios aren't likely to happen. This is by far the most outrageous of situations she has written about, but I still really enjoyed it. I don't think its her best work, (Can You Keep A Secret? Is my favorite for those of you who haven't read it)but it was still a great read. I'm an English major and sometimes its nice to read books that aren't quite so heavy and serious. Kinsella is a good break from things like Dickens or Chaucer. I think the biggest issue I had with this book is that I didn't really like the main character, Lexi. In the past I have completely adored the heroines of Kinsella's novels but I think Lexi fell a bit short of the others. Maybe it was because of the situation she was placed in, but I never quite felt like I was able to make a connection to her, or to relate to her. I did quite enjoy the lover, can't remember his name. But he was probably the best character in the book. Overall, another good Kinsella that I enjoyed reading, but not her best work to date.

Loved It!

I'm a huge fan of Sophie Kinsella and this book does not disappoint! In this book you will meet a likeable character named Lexi who wakes up with retrograde amnesia. It is very interesting as she tries to piece together her life. She wakes up to find she is married, she looks totally different and all her friends have deserted her. She has to learn who and what to believe about her life. She has to learn who really cares for her in her life. I absolutely loved this book. I could not put it down. It is very interesting to see how she slowly puts her life back together. Definitely Recommended!!

Fantastic writer..good story..reasonable price..recommended seller

In Remember Me, Kinsella follows the formula she has used for the Shopaholic series, as well as The Undomestic Goddess and Can You Keep A Secret? That formula being: Girl has problem in life. Problem becomes much bigger. Girl gets takes an interest in a new guy in the mix of everything. Everything looks bleak for girl. Then girl pulls it together by the end... She solves her problem and gets the guy.
