Best Disney Sequel EVER
Created: 02/04/07
Without a doubt the best sequel Disney has ever made - mostly because Miss Bianca and Bernard had lots of these kind of adventures in the original books, so they didn't have to make up a sappy romantic sequel. All star voices make it even better - George C. Scott is a GREAT villain (I love his rendition of "Home on the Range") and if anyone remembers Tristan Rogers (Robert from General Hospital) - he has a fun turn as Jake, a kangaroo mouse.
The cell animation is fabulous - it's what made me dream of going to Australia when I was a kid and first saw the movie in the theatres.
I had it on VHS and loaned it to someone and never got it back, I wanted a copy of it because I knew my daughters would love it, too, and I was right!

One of my favorite Disney movies

This dvd quality has to be re-reviewed, however, this is one of my favorite Disney productions. The best scene is when young Cody is flying with the Great Golden Eagle over a waterfall, just spectacular. A great experience for any family member of any age. John Candy gave a wonderful performance as Wilbur and it just shows how his talented this man was. Great cast, George C Scott, and returning voice talents from the original Rescurers movie. Truely an undiscovered beauty.

Classic Disney Movie!

This is one of my favorite movies from my childhood. The art is whimsical and at the same time realistic, the music is wonderful, and the movie in general gives you the feeling as if you are really there, in the Australian outback. It takes you on a journey with the two mice as they venture on their flight from New York to Australia and through the rain forests and deserts to save Cody. A classic Disney movie!

Why the Rescuers Down Under is awesome

This is Disney at its best. This is a timeless classic and I'm glad I picked it up here on Ebay.
This is the sequel to "The Rescuers." It's a Disney cartoon about some mice who help people in need. In this film they head to Australia to help a boy rescue a rare giant eagle.

Best Disney Movie sequel

Rescuers down under was one of my alltime favorite movies as a child, it will always be a classic and a true great original disney film. not like this stupid zach and cody new age crap they show on disney now teaching kids to be pompous and ignorant. Disney did it right and proper in the early and late 90's... Rescuers down under being a product of the 90s magic. A SEQUEL TO BOOT!
