Return of the Dragon or Way of the Dragon

Created: 09/08/06
"Are you Tang Lung?"......As a kid I saw Bruce Lee's Enter the Dragon and the Chinese Connection and thought they were the greatest kung fu movies...as a caucasian pre-teen I wanted to be Bruce Lee and beat up all the bad guys and become the hero just like a lot of other little fellows back then...When I saw Return of the Dragon I was totally blown away and recently had to buy it on DVD as I had wore my VHS tape out from years of occasional viewing.
The acting stinks, it's shot crappy and the lip syncing is horrible. Then on top of it all Bruce Lee who acted, directed and produced the film wanted you to believe for an hour and a half or so that some little 5'7", 150 lb hick from the country could take on a alley full of huge rough thugs and give them all their just deserves by beating the pulp out of them all. What's not to love I ask you?! The fight scenes are cool and innovative (especially the finale w/ a young, hairy, Chuck Norris), the chucking is great and you root for Tang Lung the whole time. "Movement number one, Dragon seeks it path!"..... "Movement number four, Dragon whips it's tail!"....If you haven't seen this one you're missing out.

I Was Asked

What do you like:
It was sent fast.

What do you love:
It is in excellent condition for a used DVD.

What do I dislike:
What is there to dislike if the 1st two are thumbs up, so I
will just say this. I was amazed how hard it was to find
this movie, seeing that it is a Bruce Lee & Chuck Norris
movie.

One more thing for all you Bruce Lee fans that thinks Enter the Dragon was his last movie. It was his last American produced movie. Bruce wrote, produced and directed Return of the Dragon (some know it as a re-release called Way of the Dragon) and the very last movie was Game of Death, which he died while in production and was not finished right away but was in time as we all know.

I didn't realize it but "Return of the Dragon" was also released under the title, "Way of the Dragon". But given that, this by far my favorite Bruce Lee movie.
