He has Catarina kidnapped. She is furious and escapes, but is thrown into the path of a man she hates. Now the two sworn enemies find a common ground to keep danger out. A "Brotherhood of the Sword" book by MacGregor. Strong writing with lots of action and passion. Always a good read.

What a disapointment

Created: 02/03/09
This is was to be a book about the brotherhood of the swords. I was so disappointed. The 1st in the series was wonderful so I expected this one to be just as good if not better. It lacked in all areas that made the first one outstanding. I was looking for spies and assassins. there was veery little about the holy land. Very sad you can tell by page 2 that it does not hold up to the story line in the 1st book.

I thought the humor in this book was so good and the chemistry between the main characters were excellent and can i just say that Phantom was the apple of my eye thats the heroes cousin I hope she writes about Phantom *sighing with a smile*....But anyway the book was worth 5 stars to me, well written, witty and romantic great love scenes and a wonderful ending to a wonderful book......

This series is light and easy to read. Good for nightly under the cover indulgences and quick enough to move to the next one without issue.
