Wow!!!! This book is powerful

Due to this book I have a different way of looking at investing. Reading this book with an open mind allows you (the reader) to view life with endless oportunities. Instead of not enough money in the world, the pages in this book makes the reader feel like its to much money in the world. The way the author describes his way of investing in real estate rather than the stock market is brilliant. After reading this book you'll feel the same way. The Guide to Investing is one of the best books I have ever read from an educational standpoint.
There are so many investing tips the book offers; any ordinary person can pursue the dream of investing. The author shows how starting a business is a great way to save on taxes even if your business is only part time. The author demonstrates how one guy started a business racing cars as a hobby in his spare time. The race car driver showed that his business was profit driven and he paid no taxes from his job where he earned over $40K a year.
If you read any book next year make it Rich Dad's Guide to Investing it will not disapoint you. The author tells the secret that the rich only tell to their children. He talks about good debt and bad debt, there is a difference. Bad debt is the money you pay back; good debt is the money people pay back for you. Managing debt is the key to becoming wealthy.

One of the greatest books on building businesses!
Created: 30/06/06
I have read this book in its entirety. When I found a copy of this awesome book, it was hard for me to lay it down, even while I had work to do. Robert Kiyasaki has written many books, and is a very popular guest speaker in a direct sales company that I am involved with. What had interested me in this company was knowing that this well known business writer, and author, was a popular guest speaker.
His book was to me a true success story on how to build a good business, and an empire of businesses. One does not build an empire with just one business, but must invest in multiple businesses to allow for an empire to be born.
This book is, by far, the greatest book that I have ever laid my eyes on, and had read from cover to cover.
This writer speaks of his failures, as well as his successes. He had created a surfer velcro wallet company in Hawaii. The business had gone so wild that he was soon in for some competitors. One of his problems was not receiving a patent on his creation. So, his company had fallen. But that did not stop him from receiving some advice from his "rich dad." With the advice from his "rich dad," he had grown a geat empire of businesses, and is now a retired writer, and business coach.
One of the greatest lessons that I had learned from Robert Kiyasaki was the five Ds:
1: A dream (I call this, a vision)
2: The determination
3: The Drive (I call this, the motivation)
4: The data (I call this, the information)
5: The Dollars (I call this, the money)
With these five points, one could acquire the wealth that they would need. Notice the first point. Nothing can be accomplished without a vision for this success. A goal must be written, and thought about daily, in order for one to succeed.
I have often told people that I am not rich, nor can be the one to teach others how to become wealthy. However, I can tell you of some of the greatest people who have succeeded, and teach how they have gained that success. Robert Kiyasaki is one of those men.

This is one of the best books written by Robert Kiyosaki after his famous book "Rich Dad Poor Dad".
For people who have no idea where to start investing, this book will give you a clear overview of what you must invest in and what you must not.
Perfect book for starters and also for the people who are already into investing.
Highly recommended to everyone especially the young students out there cause I find this book very motivational too.

Better Than Expected

I expected Rich Dad's Guide to Investing to be a lot like the original Rich Dad Poor Dad, but to my surprise it goes much deeper into details of the subjects written without much holding back. I was taken surprise, and despite my very busy daily schedules I make time to get more of this read. Although I haven't finished the book, I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in the subjects of business or investing.

I really enjoyed this book. Gives good advice on on to start investing and where to start. I had read another book of the same author and wanted to complete with this book to help me see how to start investing.
There are other books of the same author that I want to get also, because he has a good approach to individual financial opportunities.
