One of the best classic-style movies ever made. Though the plotlines stagger away from true history, as a hero vs the odds it is a beautifully filmed, wonderfully written and well directed with great performances by all. Tim Roth swaggers on the screen as a creepy little pustual you wish like hell you could just squeeze and somehow transforms himself in the blink of an eye into a smolderingly evil, calculating murderer, unmatched in swordplay. Jessica Lang delivers a performance she will be hard pressed to ever best. Her raw outpourings will dig deep at your heart. I dare you to hold back. Liam Neeson's subtle style proves his star quality, carrying himself with stoic unmovable honor... definitely not one of Hollywood's pod people. The supporting cast including Brian Cox and John Hurt are fantastic. A great tale set in a spellbinding highland local... a must see!!!!!!!

The other Brave Heart, what's not to like? Great scipt, actors, action and scenery! A rousing saga of one man's fight against the odds because he puts honor first. Also, a hoot to see Tim Roth after seeing him in Lie To Me and The Hulk. Like Brave Heart, makes one proud of thier Scottish heritage.

Great Period Piece

This is an awesome show brought out the same time as Braveheart but not so well known. No holds barred view of how things were done back in the day. Rob Roy completes any collection it's has love, honor, integrity and of course the good guy wins but not until after having gone through some serious trials. If you're looking for a feel good show this might not be it. If you're looking for something that shows that truly bad people get what's coming to them this is it in the most brutal of ways.

Excellent movie, one of my favs. Honor rules, and the test to hold to it during trying times is well portrayed in this symbolic film. Jessica Lange is regal in her character, and Liam Neeson plays his role as well as, if not better than Mel Gibson, in Braveheart.

Great story and movie. Loved it. Action for the guys, love story for the ladies. Not for young children(13 and under), ok for young adults. Has a few scenes. I bought it because my husband watched it along time ago and like it, I had never seen it and really like Liam Neeson's work.
