An effective singer, it is for Ford's powerful guitar playing that this CD (which has seven originals among the nine numbers) is most highly recommended to blues collectors. ~ Scott Yanow

...Ford has chops to burn but nonetheless comes off cold....Lots of individual prowess but where's the band?...

4 Stars - Very Good - ...more authentic than affectation...besides being a killer soloist, he's a sly, seductive blues crooner...

Must Have CD! no matter what genre you prefer.

    Created: 16/07/08
This CD is a must have for anybody who likes great drums, bass and guitar.
Tom and Roscoe lay down the groove while Robben flies around the fretboard, I particularly like the way this disc was recorded, it sounds like they had fun doing it, and didn't dwell on a song. It's very live feeling to me, and that makes for true music.

Robben is the coolest of the cool. I LOVE this CD.. It's spicy and when he sings Real Man I am with every word. I am now introducing his music to my Daughter. I used to catch him in concert all the time in Redondo. He is down to earth and a true artist in ever sense of the word. If more folks would listen to his cool liks we would all be less stressed out. Really a great recording with the sweetest guitar licks. This is an enjoyable ride.
