Rock Band (game only) (Wii, 2008)

This game is great to play but, I wish someone had told me I needed different instrument than the Guitar Hero ones. I had to buy totally new instrument to play the game. But oh well, it's still mlots of fun. wish the selection of songs was better!!

I love the game from start to finish, I recently got RockBand 2 for X-mas and when I seen the track list for RB 1 I felt like a kid in the candy store, Rock Band in general is a great experience, the songs available on the first game set the tone for music games to come. Also without having to buy the entire bundle, being able to buy just the game is very very pleasant

We had had the playstation 2 version originally,until we got a Wii last year.
My 8 year old son,who learned how to play drums pretty well from Rockband,wanted the original version for Christmas he liked it so much..And we had to rob parts from the ps2 drum kit for the Wii once he got into The Beatles Rockband game...So all in all,a great original game with many cool songs to jam to...

We love this game! We bought Wii Rock Band 2 first, then added this Rock Band (game only) for more songs to choose from. It has some awesome songs! We don't like the way you have to play EVERY song in order to unlock other songs. But it doesn't take long to unlock the 63 songs that are included! Not a big deal! Also, we wish we could use the Guitar Hero guitar with Rock Band like you can with Rock Band 2. Other than those two features we love it! Otherwise, I would have rated it 5 vs 4! It is AWESOME! Our whole family loves it. My son plays the guitar, my husband plays the drums and myself on vocals! We have a blast! It's a great way to spend some family time together. We highly recommend it to all!

Great game and great seller! Song list is excellent and although it does not have the functionality of rock Band 2, its still fun to play with friends.
