Beck does it again
Created: 13/03/11
Another blown away performance of the master guitar god along with fresh players of a different genre, this one being "rockabilly" '50s style rock and traditional pop. Remember it's a tribute to Les Paul and another era and it's fine by itself, but with Jeff Beck at lead it becomes extraordinary, with the other players being Imelda May and her husband Darrel Higgins and the rest of their band along with other guest stars such as Brian Setzer. Imelda has a wonderful voice and is a pleasure to look at too. They did some fantastic covers of great tunes and believe me, I'm going to be watching this one over again for a long time!!!
Plus there's excellent bonus features any Beck fan is sure to love

The 50 With Jeff Beck
Created: 06/04/11
It's hard to put into word what your seeing, but this maybe one of the truest tribules I have seen since Clapton's Concert for Harrison. Beck stayed true to the form to the point of using hollow body guitars to get the right sounds. At time he did go off on his whammy bar riffs but they were great, as to be expected, if a little out of place. I would say if your a fan of great vocal work, the 50s, big brass, great guitar work, it is a must have.
