SHE IS THE JOKE OF HER SMALL TOWN . ONE OF HER LEFT GROOMS TELLS A USA TODAY REPORTER ABOUT HER RUNNING AWAY FROM GETTING MARRIED . NOW SHE IS WORKING ON GETTING MARRIED FOR THE FOURTH TIME. THE REPORTER TELLS HER STORY WITHOUT MEETING HER AND SHE WRITES THE PAPER TO TELL THEM HE IS WRONG ABOUT HER. HE LOSES HIS JOB. HIS EXWIFE WAS HIS BOSS AT USA TODAY AND FIRED HIM. HIS EXWIFES NEW HUSBAND GETS AHOLD OF HIM AND TELLS HIM TO FOLLOW THE STORY OF THE RUNAWAY BRIDE SO HE CAN PROVE HIS STORY. WELL RICHARD GERE HEADS TO THE SMALL TOWN IN MAINE TO SO THIS , BUT HE FALLS IN LOVE WITH HER! IT IS JUST SUCH A GREAT MOVIE . YOU HAVE GOT TO SEE IT!!!!

While I usually love Julia Roberts movies, this one just didn't do much for me. The story revolves around the character played by Roberts, a bride who gets engaged a lot, but never married. Richard Gere plays a reporter who tries to get the scoop, but ends up falling in love with the runaway bride. The story line just seemed flat to me, and the acting was just okay.

) Though i love to watch Julia Roberts's every movie, infact i am just crazy abt her smile and i like the pair of Gere's & Roberts. I spent good amount too to rent this movie.
The story was just below my expectations. He is a reporter & she is a small town girl..Rest Watch this movie once when you just want to kill your time.

Adorable

The Classic chemestry with Roberts and Gere. Love them both. BUT was not a Pretty woman if that is what you are looking for. This one has it's own kind of a NEW Chemestry between the two. Although they are Brilliant together no matter What they star in. I loved this movie. It did make me cry and it did make me want more!
I do recommend it as the classic type of movie to have a copy in the house for that rainy day!
