Saiyuki - Vol. 5: Sting of the Scorpion (DVD, 2003)

A blend of action, fantasy, and comedy, the epic Animé series SAIYUKI is the story of a renegade priest, a monkey king, a lecherous water sprite, and a sympathetic demon who team up to form an unlikely band of warriors. Their common enemies are the demons that have covered the land of Saiyuki with dark energy to resurrect an ancient monster. In these four episodes, Scorpion Queen Renli has devised a plan to capture and devour Sanzo after discovering a legend stating that eating a priest entrusted with one of the founding scriptures of heaven and earth bestows immortality. Discovering this, Goku tries to get to Sanzo in time to save him, but is confronted by his old nemesis Kougaiji on the way.
