) Excellent unit for use in a smaller room. Separation and clarity are very good for a product at this cost position. Easy set up....lots of adjustments for personal tastes. Highlight is the 'wireless' rear speakers. My application does not support hidden wires from the head unit to the rear speakers due to the configuration of our room. The ability to set up the rear receiver and speakers behind the couch made the system look so seamless, it has already drawn positive comments from friends. I would definitely recommend this home theater package, as a great 'middle of the road' system that delivers at least that, at a very reasonable price for the wireless rear speaker option.

) I bought the HT-650W to replace an older Samsung HT-TQ85 that died. This model does not even come close to the quality of HT-TQ85. The sound can hardly be heard out of rear speakers and it is hooked up correctly and also volume to rear speakers are set to the loudest position of +6. I dont know if its a problem with this specific receiver or if its because of the wireless rear speaker receiver. Might just be that this not a very good system. HT-TQ85 cost about $300 more so maybe I got what I paid for. Would not recommend to anyone.

Sounds great. I love it. Everything works how it should and the price is excellent! Rear speakers have to connect to a receiver but it is not a problem, i could easily hide all the speakers or mount them on the wall. Receiver/ DVD player is glossy block. For the price it is a steal.

took a few minutes to figure out how to make the rear speakers work but reading the instructions fixed that pretty quick. huge sound from small package! great upverting dvd and sound quality even better than hoped for, very happy with system
